Exactal is sponsoring a number of important conferences coming up around the world in October, November & December.
First off in October is the AWCI Conference and the HKIBIM Conference.
The AWCI (Association of Wall & Ceiling Industries) Conference takes place this year in Queenstown, New Zealand, from 19th to 22nd October, and Exactal will be exhibiting there with Product Solutions Manager Tony Shaw. Tony has attended the annual AWCI Conference for the past several years, and with so many AWCI members using CostX®, Tony can meet up with clients & prospects alike. The HKIBIM (Hong Kong Institute of BIM) Conference will then take place in Lantau, Hong Kong, on 29th October. Not only is Exactal a Silver Sponsor for the conference, but Ken Leung, one of our Hong Kong Product Specialists, is a speaker at the conference, presenting a paper on an ‘Innovative BIM Solution for Project Management & Quantity Surveying’. BIM is an emerging topic of interest in Hong Kong and with CostX® being a world-leading BIM solution, Ken and Product Specialist Clarence look forward to sharing knowledge on the day. Then, November will see Exactal attending the London IT Showcase Live session and the BrisBIMx Conference.
The London IT Showcase Live event will take place on 20th November, and Exactal will be exhibiting there. IT Showcase Live events are held around the UK throughout the year, designed to match up suppliers and buyers so buyers can find their ideal software solution. Interest in CostX® is growing rapidly in the UK, and Exactal expects to meet even more prospects at the event. For more information on the London IT Showcase Live, please click here.
The BrisBIMx Conference is on the 26th November in Brisbane, Australia, and Exactal is one of the Silver Sponsors. BrisBIM was created to facilitate and bring together the built environment community within the greater Brisbane region, allowing them to share and exchange thoughts and knowledge in respect to technology innovation across the industry. The inaugural BrisBIMx Conference will be an extension of BrisBIM’s bi-monthly Wednesday night events. As CostX® is widely used in the Brisbane 5D BIM community, the conference is a great opportunity for Exactal to engage with valued clients. For more information on BrisBIMx, please click here.
Finally, in December, Exactal will be exhibiting at the RICS Scotland QS & Construction Conference.
This inaugural conference is due to take place in Glasgow, UK on 11th December, and aims to examine what the QS profession should do to support Scotland’s construction market. Exactal will use the conference as an opportunity to meet with not only clients, but also new QS prospects. For more information on the conference, please click here.
Exactal Marketing Executive Tracy Woodland states “We’re excited about the wide range of conferences we are exhibiting in and supporting over the next few months. Established in Brisbane, Australia in 2003 to develop software specifically for the quantity surveying and estimating market, Exactal has continued to expand its worldwide presence. It now has offices in Brisbane & Melbourne in Australia, London & Newcastle Upon Tyne in the UK, Auckland in New Zealand, and Singapore and Hong Kong. The company also has sales and channel partner support across much of the globe. The main product CostX® provides an integrated BIM and 2D on-screen measurement solution with a unique integration between the cost estimates and the elements on the drawing files that the estimate represents. This approach keeps estimates up to date and allows drawing revisions to be easily evaluated to eliminate traditional scope creep in construction projects.
